We miss Daddy!

Big Buddy loves to take photos of us together!

Because we are over here so Mr. Big can work with his companies Middle Eastern clients, Big Buddy and I spend a lot of time alone. We sure do miss daddy though! It will be funny to compare our trip with Mr. Big's trip when it is all through. :)

Big Buddy and I spend most days hanging around our apartment, the beach, playgrounds and shopping malls. During our adventures, Big Buddy likes us to take pictures of ourselves together to show daddy just how much we have been missing him.

We miss you daddy!

When we hang out at home, we like to color and draw. We play puzzle games and watch cartoons (we found some in English) and we often play with playdoo. Big Buddy likes to help me cook and we wrestle (yes, this is Daddy's job, but since he is gone alot, Mommy and Big Buddy have learned how to wrestle Mommy style). We download movies on our iPad and like to watch those in our pajamas. We often fall asleep without Daddy. He took a picture of use once when he got home at like 2 in the morning (yes those are my two pillows and pillowcases from home...what can I say, I hate sleeping on pillows other people have slept on!)

Last week, Big Buddy and I went out on a Mommy and Son date to the Marina Mall were we ate Kentucky Fried Chicken Arab style and then went to a movie. Oh, yeah...I forgot that we also ate a Cinnamon roll from Cinnabon (my new favorite dessert place). Afterward we went to the movies and saw, "Megamind" with Will Ferral. What a fantastic movie!!! Big Buddy got a drink suvinear.

We often go to the little playground right behind our apartment so Big Buddy can play with other kids. It helps him run out his energy and make new friends. Sometimes though, no kids show up and then Big Buddy is really sad. :( He really misses his little friends back home. Once at the mall, we decided to make Big Buddy a special friend at the Arab Build a Bear. He decided to make himself the "Hello Kitty" boy Kitty called "Choco Kitty". He totally loved making his new friend and dressing him. It was a lot of fun.

We often take taxi rides to the grocery store together and Big Buddy puts on the seatbelt (scares me that he doesn't have a care seat). The taxi drivers just love him! They talk to Big Buddy the whole time and comment on his great English. Funny! Too bad it doesn't get us free rides....

Big Buddy also likes to go to the pool and beach. It really is nice over here being able to just walk on over to the beach. We pick up sea shells and swim in the kiddie pool. Often we will pack a lunch and snacks and make an afternoon of it (this really helps tire out Big Buddy).
